With everything that has happened in the world with COVID-19 we want to assure you that Grand Ridge Eye Clinics are taking all the necessary precautions to see to the safety of you and our employees. We are committed to staying up to date with the CDC recommendations and in certain cases have gone beyond those recommendations in an effort to provide the safest environment we can for your visit.
These precautions include:
All employees will have their temperatures taken each morning upon entry and will answer a COVID-19 exposure questionnaire. If they have a temperature of 100.4° or above (as per CDC guidelines), show any signs or symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has shown symptoms of COVID-19 they will be sent home.
All equipment that comes in contact with the patient, such as our testing equipment, will be cleaned before and after every exam with 70% alcohol.
All surfaces, such as counter-tops, will be cleaned with a chlorine bleach solution before and after each exam.
All pens, tools, and frames touched by staff or patients will be disinfected in the UV box.
Staff will be washing/sanitizing their hands before and after helping patients.
As per Governor Inslee’s orders, starting 06/26/2020 all residents of WA state are required to wear masks in any public setting unless they have breathing difficulties such as asthma or are children under 2 years old.
Surfaces such as chairs & tables will be disinfected with alcohol or bleach solution after every use.
Any frame selects not associated with same day exam will be done by appointment only. When we call to confirm time, we will remind patients that their temperature will take before entering the facility. If any symptoms such as fever, cough or fatigue they will be sent told to go to the nearest hospital.
Optical lab tables will be set 6 ft apart.
No more than 2 patients browsing for frames, and they must remain 6 ft apart.
